A workshop was organized to introduce Biophysics as study area to METU-Physics bachelor students. Visitors learned the basic tools and equipments of a Biophysics laboratory and prepared a sodium phosphate buffer with a fixed pH for starters and measured its IR spectrum. Also the spectrum of egg, butter and fish oil were taken and their signature bands were discussed.
